Time Really Flies

Yes time really does fly. It’s March already. Before you know it, it will be December again. Anyway, every March I received tons of wedding invitations from my friends. Since most of my friends want to be June brides, I personally asked them to send me invitations at least 3 months before so I can prepare. =) But hopefully this 3 months ahead notice give me enough time to lose weight.

PCOS and treatment

I read about PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) treatment, since I was recently diagnosed that I have one. The most common treatment is the prescription of birth control pills. Also, exercise helps the body use insulin more effectively and is highly recommended as well.

My husband and I are planning to buy fitness equipment so we don’t have to go to the gym. Many scientific studies have shown that exercising for at least 30 minutes a day, about five days a week, is highly beneficial to your health.

I was browsing my Facebook account when I saw something about green study and this funny photo (see below). Instead of pay per view, it says paper view.

This is a promotional tarpaulin in one of the malls in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. I guess they forgot to proofread it first before printing. Anyway, Pacquiao vs Clottey is just a few days away. I’m really excited for this fight. Go Manny! Make us proud again.

The climate is changing. The earth is warming up, and it is seen as one of the greatest threats facing the planet.

It is really hot outside, so every time I go out I wear protective clothing or I put on sunscreen with SPF 15. Another tip I got is to wear light-colored clothes because it reflect sunlight better than dark colors.

Anyway, to truly protect your skin from UV rays, prepare, cover-up and use commonsense. Your skin will be healthier for it.

UTI

For the past few days, I felt sharp pains on the left side below my belly button. I was afraid to have my check done. I though it was kidney failure or something like Mesothelioma. However, my blogger friends convinced me to go to the clinic for a check up. So I did. I was diagnosed with UTI or urinary tract infection (UTI). UTI is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract.

The doctor said that most uncomplicated UTIs can be treated with oral antibiotics such as trimethoprim, cephalosporins, nitrofurantoin, or a fluoroquinolone. Also I was advised not to delay urination when it is necessary. Drinking lots of water, cranberry juice or buko juice.

Muscle Pain

The other day, we went to Eastwood for the Bungee Fun Adventure. At first, I was hesitant to try it, however, they convinced me to experience it. And I did! It was fun at first, then it became scary I noticed I was jumping so high. So I didn’t finish the 3 minute duration.

After my jump, I noticed muscle pain. It became worst the next day. It made me realize that I’m not getting any younger. So I’ve talked to my husband and asked him if we can get joint health supplements. He likes the idea but he will still need time to decide.

For now, I need some pain killers for my muscle pain.

Valentine and Anniversary

February 14 and 15, both are very important days for us. February 14 is, of course, Valentine’s day, and February 15, is our anniversary. It was already 6 years ago when I gave him my sweet Yes.

Anyway, we spent those two special days alone. On the 14th, we had Yellow Cab for our dinner. Then, we spent the night watching some DVDs. On the next day, we went to the mall and had some sumptuous lunch which we really enjoy. Then, we went to the grocery to buy some stuff and fat burner because for 6 years we’ve been together, we gain weight. And we want to lose weight seriously.

We did not do something special like picnicking, watching movies, dinner date but being together on those days are enough for us.
