I'm A Yahoo! Messenger Power User

I received an email from Yahoo inviting me to be a Yahoo! Messenger Power User. At first, I thought it is a hoax, so I deleted the email. Today, my husband upgraded our Yahoo Messenger. When I sign in to my messenger, a window pop up inviting me to be a Yahoo! Messenger Power User again. So I joined. It started asking me for an icon… You can choose from crown, badge, trophy. I chose crown… They also have special status icon (like the yahoo status icon at the left of my page). You can use these icons to display your online status on websites, social networks, or blogs. Now I’m a certified Yahoo! Messenger Power User.

Yahoo! Messenger Power User Overview:
Yahoo! Messenger’s Power User program rewards IM’ers that push the boundaries by sending the most IMs and engaging with the most friends. They get many cool perks, and first access to new products. It’s Yahoo’s way of saying thanks for using Yahoo! Messenger!

Benefits of being a Yahoo! Messenger Power User:

2. Yahoo will also pay priority attention to any feedback you’ve got on Messenger 9.0 Beta, which they will use to shape the final version of Messenger 9.0 based on your needs. And they will be holding regular votes on what exclusive content you’d prefer—stuff like custom Avatar clothing, Audibles, IMV’s with custom emoticons, as well as special prizes.
3. You will be a member of The Messenger All Stars list Yahoo! Group. As a Power user and All-Stars Yahoo! Group member, you’ll be the first to know about exclusive benefits and giveaways for Messenger Power Users.
